The four wheeled battery powered bike is known as E-Wazuma. It looks more rugged and cooler than the typical quad bike which normally seen on desert or other out of bound locations.
E-Wazuma is manufactured by Lazareth, a boutique carmaker based in a French village just outside Geneva Switzerland. It offers a 40-horsepower electric motor installed inside each of its rear wheels and weigh at 361 lb-ft which 52 times more than the new turbocharged 2017 Porsche Boxter S. The bike has almost zero lag and right from it started, the rider can feel the power and torque behind its powerful quad. It is definitely not for the faint-hearted.
Apart from building E-Wazuma, Lazareth is also known for building Maserati V8-powered LM-847 motorcycle which is debuted in Geneva Motor Show. The bike also has four wheels but they are paired together as to provide the rider the same experience of riding a traditional two wheeled bike riding experience with enough rubber on the road to handle the V8 output.
Although E-Wazuma is just a prototype as of now, however, the manufacturer claims that they can easily build a version which is able to travel on the normal road condition. There is no news on the pricing or release date yet.
