HUDWAY Glass Head Up Display is a car accessory which is able to display information which is useful to the driver while he or she is driving on the road. The device acts as navigation, speedometer as well as speed cameras. Therefore, the driver is able to know all these information without having to look somewhere else except the road ahead while driving.
HUDWAY started as a mobile app for iOS and Android. It has been tried by more than one million mobile phone users and it has received positive feedbacks from them. Therefore, the team behind the apps came up with HUDWAY Glass and its early prototype was showcased at CeBIT 2015 in Hannover for the first time.
HUDWAY Glass is made in order to eliminate issues caused by the need to project the image into the windshield such as image double, lack of reflection during daytime as well as image size. To use it is very simple; drivers just need to start up any app which support HUD mode on the smartphone and place the smartphone on a cradle with its display up and you are ready to go!
HUDWAY Glass is currently being crowd funded in Kickstarter. The device is priced at $49 and it starts shipping in May 2016 to all over the world.
