Automatic is a car accessory which is able to work with any type of car made after 1996. If you sync it to your Android or Apple iPhone device, you will be able to view all the hidden information about your car. The device is able to diagnose the check engine light, calculate fuel efficiency, call for help in case if your airbags deployed automatically as well as gives warning in case you driving in a way that will burn more fuel.
Recently, there is an update for Automatic which enables you to beam the driving data to any smartphone app which you like. This means that you can view your driving habits, fuel usage as well as your car’s performance from any smartphone app that you like. Unfortunately, Automatic does not have its own app store; however, the company provides links to the Apple and Google app store. Currently, there are a total of 20 apps which is able to read data from Automatic.
Automatic is definitely a lot simpler than the Android or Apple car entertainment system. Android’s car infotainment system is known as Android Auto while Apple is coming up with Apple CarPlay. Both needs to be integrated into the car model, therefore, both only supported by a selective number of car model whereas Automatic does not need to be integrated into the car model in order for it to work. In this way, we can say that Automatic is able to work in any car, be it a conventional car model or a driverless car.
It is interesting that for what Automatic can do, it is only priced at $100 and most importantly, it can make your old car look smart.
