Parrot MINIKIT Neo 2 HD seems to have feature which has already found in the market like enable the drivers to make or receive phone calls while driving. However, the difference is that the device enables them to do it without even touching the button! All the driver needs to do is to say the key word ‘MINIKIT’ and the device will listen to your voice command. Therefore, to receive a phone call, all the driver needs to do is to say ‘Accept’ or ‘Reject’!
Parrot MINIKIT Neo 2 HD supports both Bluetooth and NFC. On top of that it can connect up to two mobile devices at the same time and it is also compatible with either iOS or Android operating system. The device can be considered as an upgrade to the previous MINIKIT Neo models with enhancement such as always listening voice command feature as well as improvements on the sound quality.
For the hardware side, the device comes with two buttons, the green and red button. The green button is used to do confirmation while selecting the menu whereas the red button is used to cancel the option. On top of that there is a clickable jogwheel which enable users to scroll through the menu. Lastly, there is a mini-USB port that is able to do charging through USB cable or the car’s auxiliary power port as well as to do software updates.
The smartphone app for the device is available for Android and iOS version. It adds more feature to the existing hands-free device such as displaying information on how long you have been driving, how long you have parked your car or the parking location.
