Tesla is currently undergoing testing for the company’s new self-driving car which also known as Model S. On top of that, Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO, also mentioned that the company is developing an automatic car charger which can move itself away from the wall and plug itself into the car’s charging point. The charger is believed to be able to automatically twist and turn and find its way to the car’s charging point which definitely is impressive.
Tesla Model S boasts higher performance than the rest of the car which Tesla ever manufactured. Its acceleration is promised to be instantaneous, silent and smooth. It can reach up to 60 miles for an hour in a matter of seconds. On top of that, it also environmentally friendly as it comes with zero emission.
Tesla Model S is also equipped with an auto pilot feature. It is a feature whereby it combines a forward looking camera, 360 degree sonar sensors with real time traffic updates and uses this information to navigate itself on the road. It is also able to detect a parking system and parked itself. The feature will be progressively implemented using software updates which believed to be done Over the Air (OTA). The current version is 6.2 and it includes emergency braking and blind spot warning.
